Nestled away in the busy streets of downtown Austin sits the stunning
Chateau Bellevue. A venue unlike any other, Chateau Bellevue immediately
transports guests back in time with its elegant Victorian beauty. Whether you are
looking for an intimate ceremony or a lavish affair, this unique venue could be the
perfect pick for you.

Built in 1874, this venue stands out amongst the modern venue options
available downtown. As soon as the elevator doors open, guests are greeted with a
sizable ballroom and stage area lined with wrought iron chandeliers. Continue
through the courtyard doors to enter the perfect outdoor ceremony space. The
courtyard is still hidden from the streets of Austin, so all guests see are the detailed
landscaping and elevated terraces surrounding. For an added bonus, brides can add
as much lighting and décor to the area, just no candles (historic building probs)!

While the building itself is breathtaking, the venue also offers some
incredible deals. Weddings are given an 8-hour time-block with 3 hours of set up, 4
hours for the event and 1 hour to breakdown. Couples and their wedding
party/immediate family are also given access to the private upstairs area to get
ready and take pictures. This intimate area is straight out of the late 1800’s with its
delicate details and historical furnishings. Couples are also allowed to schedule a 2-
hour period for pictures outside of the wedding day to take advantage of all the
venue’s beauty.

Food wise, Chateau Bellevue has got you covered! Chef Jeff has a variety of
options for both cocktail hour and dinner, so an outside caterer is not needed. BUT
GUYS YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL AND DESSERTS! I don’t know about
you guys, but having the option to bring in my choices of alcohol and desserts makes
me feel all warm and happy inside.
All in all, Chateau Bellevue is an amazing option for your perfect wedding
day. I was lucky enough to tour this venue and was impressed with not only the
space, but also those working. The employees were so friendly and were very
patient as we walked around through their prep for the wedding the venue was
hosting the next day. If you’re looking for an unexpected venue that you and your
guests are sure to love, visit http://www.chateaubellevueaustin.org today!
