Whew! How fast a year goes by! We recently celebrated Kristi's son's first birthday with a circus carnival themed party, and it was such a blast! We pulled out all the stops to create a fun, exciting atmosphere for all the guests, and to make the Birthday Boy feel super special!

Guests were welcomed by a gift table with photos of Nathaniel from birth to 1 year. He has grown up so much! The party featured a bevy of delicious party food, including a dessert display with a large cake, provided by Simon Lee Bakery, and a gorgeous custom backdrop by Bubblegum Backdrops!

Desserts included fun over-sized lollipops, "popcorn" cupcakes made from marshmallows and food coloring, trays of cookies by Crumbs Gourmet Cookies, and custom wrapped Hershey's Chocolate Bars, among other treats.

Kristi provided each guest with a "Thank You" bag to carry their tickets, prizes, and candy! Guests both young and old enjoyed playing the midway games and redeeming tickets for fun prizes.

The birthday boy himself made his debut in a custom made Ringleader costume, complete with silk Top Hat! His cousin, Tenny, was the perfect Assistant, and a beautiful showgirl.

Nathaniel just LOVES his cousin!

Brio Photography captured the day in a truly magical way...even her daughter got in on the fun!

Guests feasted on all kinds of junk food, including hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, popcorn, pickles, peanuts, and french fries. Anything that would bring out the inner child in you!

Kristi and her husband Dan set up a red and white photo backdrop for guests to enjoy, featuring the words "Step Right Up", and lots of photo props!

Premiere Events provided all the fun, festive rentals, including linens, chairs, pipe and drape, and even this large tent!

The face painting and balloon-twisting were the highlight of the event! Check out that unicorn!

Face Painting by Arvis really showcased her talents, providing fun, completely custom designs for every guest! She literally can do anything...just ask!

Jasper, of the talented duo Jasper and Costello Entertainment, was not to be outdone. He created rideable horses, flamingos, rocket ships, sharks, turtles, jet packs, and swords! Anything you can dream, he can make...out of balloons!

Check out that balloon Batman!

The birthday had a quick costume change for the rest of the sunny afternoon. Even Ringleader's need to take some time off!

The Birthday Boy wasn't too sure what to do with his Smash Cake at first, but as soon as he had a taste of the Orange and Cream cake from Simon Lee, that changed!

He even shared a little with his Mama!

Even Brio took a turn in front of the camera! She and her daughter are TOO CUTE!

After all was said and done, the day was absolutely perfect! A special thanks to everyone who helped make this the most memorable day ever!
